Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Thamarrurr Catholic College has a comprehensive complaints management procedure to assist parents, students and school staff to reach positive outcomes when issues arise. We recognise that families and teachers need to work together to provide the best educational opportunities for children. We are committed to the prompt, respectful, fair and just resolution of all complaints.
The school follows the Northern Territory Catholic Education Office Complaints Management for Schools Guidelines.
If you have a concern, the appropriate first step is to speak directly with the relevant person at school, if you feel comfortable doing so. Be as clear as you can about the concerns and the result you are seeking. You should also advise them that if the matter cannot be resolved you may lodge a formal complaint.
