The wellbeing of students is at the heart of Catholic Education, enabling learning environments which promote the spiritual, physical, emotional, social, cultural and intellectual wellbeing of all. The school is committed to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment for all students and staff.
Our comprehensive approach to Pastoral Care and Wellbeing includes:
- Pastoral care and wellbeing leadership in both Primary and Secondary schools: support is provided to both students and the teachers of those students through Trauma Informed Practices
- Inclusion Support Team to support students with their behaviour and learning including School Nurse/s, Social Worker and Counsellor
- School Nutrition Program – providing three meals per day to students and staff (breakfast, cuppa and lunch)
- Men’s and women’s health programs in Secondary School – Core of Life and Menzies Skills for Life
- Partnership with other health and welfare agencies: Wadeye Clinic, 54 Reasons, Territory Families, Catholic Care, Thamarrurr Youth, NT Police
- Lead local agency in the Menzies Rheumatic Heart Screening
